Leavenworth

While in Leavenworth we got to stay in a perfect little cabin. We had a fun snow filled trip. Buggy especially loved the bunk beds.

We had yummier breakfast than normal.

We boogied all morning!

Natalie especially loved to go outside. (Grampa Chappell, Mike)

When the girls got too cold they came in to warm up. One time I gave them all twiner "braid headbands".

Joanna and Bug

I know that Natalie climbs on anyone she can reach but I do NOT know why the heck Audrey would be laying down, face first in the middle of the wet floor:)

We made it to the tree lighting in the blizzard. All the big kids got ot ride in the back with Tawnia and John (and to no one's surprise, John skiied behind the truck. And I bet he didn't even spill his cocoa!)John-Ian-Audrey-Tawnia

One night we invited the cousins over to our cabin for rootbeer floats, complete with licorice straws!

Joanna and Audrey.

One night everyone was invited up to Pat's cabin for games but we had sleeping kids so I stayed. Oh, the sacrifice: luckily the National Finals Rodeo were on in the 9th round or so!! So me and Natalie didn't feel so bad staying behind with the sleeping princesses!

....speaking of sleeping.....compliments of Clara, the camera stealer!

Of coarse on the drive home, everyone was drooling and I was taking pics to keep myself distracted from the ever so cautious driving methods being used.HA!

Pretty good for a moving car and a not so good camera, huh? It really was beauty!

Daddy's A, #1 Helpers!

One Saturday, Jerm was working out in the garage and of coarse he just NEEDED tthe girls' help so they got all geared up themselves. (Apparently dresses are the new cargo jean for a day in the garage!)

Randoms...

While decorating for Christmas I had to take a poopy diaper break or something and came back to a lovely surprise. Audrey and Clara had decorated this little tree, can ya even see that it's a tree?? Anyhow, we left it that way the whole season: BEAUTY!

She's sucha a helper girl.

Back in November when we got that little bit of snow, the boys took Audrey and Clara out and built a snowman in the dark after enough finally accumulated. With a celery nose and all!

Thanksgivings flashback!

For Thanksgiving dinner we went to the Chappell's and had a yummy dinner. The girls wanted to help with everything.

Clara, Joanna, and Audrey. (Don't worry, the bunny ears are for the scarecrow behind Bug! I checked!)

Before....(nothing like the one I "attempted" last year, THANK GOODNESS!!!)

...after. Audrey had been waiting to carry the turkey to the table practically ALL day!

After dinner all the kids and spouses played Cribbage. Stephanie and I were the newbies so we played partners. John was my partner and I really got it I think. Stepanie, Pat's wife,is in the center.

We brought our hostess gift of applesauce to the party!

Thanksgiving FHE works of art!

For Thanksgiving we each painted a frame to put our faces in. The grils ended up using them as place cards for most every meal. And I did get pics in them too(just not pictured) Natalie REALLY wants to learn how to paint these days...

New Years Party and Stuff

Here's the "stuff". Audrey has the patience of a saint and almost always lovingly helps with the younger girls. This one afternoon I was working on dinner and wondered where everyone went so I found Audrey stuck under Clara, holding very still and quiet as not to disturb her. What a good sister!

Natalie is a stunningly gorgeous baby don't ya think?

On New Years Eve we planned on making earrings all night but of coarse I had an extra fussy baby so I just listened to Ma and Sonie chat and giggle all night from the other room. Wierd, it kinda felt like highschool again, only WAY better!

Since Sonie's Aleana was out of town with Nathan she took a chance to feed the baby that Layne was babysitting.(Hey Lacey, look how great she looks! I wanna be skinny too, but not bad enough cause I just ate 3 cookies!)

Granny set up a movie for the children. This is the one and only one that I could post of the kids from the whole night!

Happy New Year??

Yep, it was almost 2 weeks ago but hey, it's still January so I'm doin' good:) We got all dressed in our new jammies and cute party hats for the big party at Granny and Grampa's. We had lots of kids there and Sonie got to come too as her family was out of town.

These pics are just me showin' off one of my multi-talented daughters. Audrey made these fabulous pieces of art with ribbon and tape. Plus she made a card to go with them!

Bubble Lip

Attention Auntie L! These are special pics for you. All others might NOT want to scroll thru them as they are sorta yuck. The cute Natalie picture in the dental waiting room is to buffer the bubbliciousness!

Both older girls had their first ever fillings in November and apparently they didn't emphasize the DEFINETELY DON'T BITE ON YOUR LIP WHILE IT'S NUMB part! This is the night I called ya!

A few days later.

It healed up really well and pretty fast but it looked pretty nasty. It took about a week. Needless to say we have had no such problems since!

Grampa Inman-Post Surgery

After church today we made it up to see Grampa again. He seemed to be resting well so we really tried to be quiet but..... had to cut our stay to @10 min: we have such a cute screamer....uh, I mean baby! He posed for a pic with the Happy New Years hat that our girls made him.(to match theirs of coarse!)

We brought him applesauce,

we visited with Grama, (Mom got those tubs to give Grampa a manicure:)

He got another balloon which Natalie took 2.3 seconds to notice,

Grampa's good friend Steve brought him some sawdust. (I thought he could sprinkle it in his hair and on his chair to feel more at home!) This was a very thoughtful idea, huh? I was very impressed and oooohh, that must have smelled extra good to Grampa!

These are just some shots from around the room...

Buggy was playing Cribbage

Todays board. Mary is Grampa's favorite nurse. He loves when she is in. (must be all in the name, huh?) The laps are around the nurses station. Oh, and I just heard that Grampa got to order a milkshake with his broth for dinner. That is exciting for a guy who hasn't really eaten much of anything in the last week!

Candy for the kids:)(and Moms??)
