Happy Birthday (WAY belated) to Me

Audrey insists that it is your birthday only when there are decorations so we dug some out and she got to choose everything. She even made me a sign. Clara is posing for a pretty picture in distraction from attacking the balloons!

Audrey loves to be a cake decorater so on my birthday(July 2) she got to decorate a leftover cake from two nights before (we had strawberries with it)and chose each of the decorations herself. Lucky for all of us who got to eat it!Clara helped too!

The Zoo

We made it to the zoo earlier this month and both the girls loved it!! We got to ride the carousel, see the monkeys "hugging" and we especially liked the whales and aquariums!

Here fishy-fishy!!

Audrey Mae Chappell is now a fisherwoman. Daddy took her and Clara to the Sportsman's Warehouse(I think) last weekend to catch TWO fish. Luckily we even got to keep the fish.... She had a great time and would love to tell ya about it!

Granny got us some more play do at a garage sale so we wanted to try all of the colors. She made a nest with eggs, which she was very proud of and I made the bird.

Since it has been hot outside we have the wading pool set up to warm in the sun. As you can see, Clara goes into it whenever she wants, shoes and all. (Notice Audrey's footwear...who doesn't wear snowboots in July!?)

New fire pitt

We had been playin' really hard this day and when Granny and Grampa got there they were gigglin' out of their seats so we snapped a pic just before Audrey got too grumpy.

Jerm put a fire pitt in our back corner so one night we christed it with the master marshmallow roaster, Grampa. Audrey wasn't diggin' gooey mallows so she just ate them "raw".

Pedi's for three

We thought it would be fun to do pedicures with Grama one day so Audrey made special heart shaped muffins. (I think she's holding it backwards..jelly face!) We ALL helped and had beautiful toenails in the end. Grama even helped prune my roses and since I have tackled the rest of the roses!!(Jerm called me Edward Scissor Hand. It's FUN!!)

Grama gave us some strawberries a couple weeks ago and I just thought they looked so pretty and they were delish!!!

Grama sent these foot massagers over for our garage sale and they didn't sell so we saved them from the DI pile so each of us take turns.(and don't worry, each of our dolls gets to take a turn too.)

Clara and Audrey have to go outside on the deck when they have something messy like drinks or popsicles and are usually quick to run out and play when they are finished but this time Clara was just loungin' for a while, watching Audrey.

One night I came down from tucking Clara into bed and this is what I saw. Audrey had stuffed Jerm's pockets full of treasures for some kind of adventure. I think they were blasting off or something.

Couch for sale! We didn't sell it at our garage sale. Anyone know anyone who NEEDS a most comfy couch???
