Pedigo Party

It was another fun and yummy party at Auntie Sue's. Everyone loved our baby and it was a beautiful day to enjoy the Sound. We ate, took lots of pictures, played and visited while we ate more! We did the Grama Joan basket as a gift exchange and made out like bandits.

Christmas Treats

The girls helped me make some treats for my beehives. Clara had to eat hers with a spoon as not to miss a single sprinkle!

Christmas Day

We have baked and eaten the felt cookies Auntie Emma made about 12 times already. And just for the record:every time I see them I get disappointed when I realize that they are pretend! I know, I'm a DORK!

We had such a fun Christmas day celebration at Mom and Dad's. Audrey was such great help in the kitchen with Grampa and the food was to DIE for!!!! (I must expound!) Dad cooked little game hens in the hibatci pot and Mom made her cabbage/ramen salad AND for dessert Dad made his yummiest mousse into a pie with peanutbutter dream pie on top!! Wow!!!! Grandma Inman made a really good dessert cheese ball that I took upon myself to "take care of". And on top of all of that, our friend Jim, made cheese cake. If you've tried it, then thats all that needs to be said. If you haven't tried it then.......I'm sorry. It is YUM!

The girls each got a REAL piggie bank from Granny and Grampa. These are coveted items at our house and have long been on the list of things we NEED(birthdays, etc.) since the one that we had tragically was dropped and broken.

Natalie girl is getting sooo big and yes, she is too cute, we know!!!

On Christmas Eve night I was laying in bed figuring out just how soon we could get to Granny and Grampa's on Christmas day, (ie: planning naps, etc.)and I realized that they didn't have any children to watch the next morning. How not fun is that?!! So I called in the morning and they made it over before we even made it downstairs. It was extra fun, and they are a lot of help! Jeremy and Grandpa made these stools(Aren't they talented?) and Natalie even played with wrapping paper for the 3 minutes she was awake. Audrey surprised us with a special calender that she made at preschool and painted figures!

I guess we weren't TOO Naughty....

Audrey proclaimed that she had been nice this year and Clara said she had been a little naughty so I guess there/s some sort of curve or something. We prepared for Santa with milk, carrots, and Grandma Chappell's yummy cookies. We can't wait for Sydney girl and Treyson to visit and play with our "balloon"(parachute) as we need more kids to make it more fun!!

You wouldn't believe what talented ballerinas we have on our new balance beam. Santa must have known.

Gingerbread Houses 2009

This was SO much fun!! It is every year. so those of you who haven't kept up Grama's tradition should try it! We save candy all year long and buy a few "neccesities". Although we don't eat them, I love all of the color.

The Finished Product!

1. Daddy's
2. Clara's
3. Audrey's (made for her secret buddy at preschool)
4. Mine (with Audrey's help in building two of the "out-buildings" for our barn which she didn't have time to decorate.)
